Darkness. All she saw was black. It consumed her soul, overpowered her mind, ate her heart up like it was desert. Would she ever escape this madness? Now she wished she would have called for help sooner. Finally, the darkness was beginning to fade, and light was peaking from behind closed eye lids. She could feel her husbands warmth as he touched his nose to her cheek, his tongue sliding across feverish flesh. She needed to wake up. With a groan, she forced her eyes open, ears laying flat as he whispered in her ear. His breath tickled her. "Ger..." She breathed shallowly, dull blue eyes looking over to meet the healer. She had... something. Something she needed to drink? She didn't know. The brunette queen waited for a command, trying to fight the sleep away as she did so.

Loccian moved as fast as she could, crushing up the plants quickly but carefully, making sure none came out of the dip or splashed any of the water. After a few moments her ear flicked to the side at Gerhardt's voice, trying to wake Lady Adette, she kept working though, watching from the corner of her eyes. A few seconds and she said something, awake, but she was breathing shallow, grey meeting dull blue. She set the rock aside, using her snout to carefully push the stone forward till it was just next to her snout. You must drink this mi'lady, it will help you. She spoke softly but sternly, she might have not been able to hold things down but she needed water and to get this into her system so she could get better. There was nothing she could do now, it was all up to Adette. The Queen's body needed to fight this thing off with the help of those herbs, all they could do was hope she would get better. If she showed knew signs of something besides being ill, then Loccian would go find more herbs to give to the Queen.

Sir, we should really move her into Seracia, try to get her back to the dens when she is able to move. She turned her grey eyes onto Gerhardt, sitting with her shoulders up and head held high. It will be easier to tend to her where I have a better source of herbs, and she would be safer. What if we were attacked while out here? She wasn't trying to force him to or make him feel bad for leaving her vulnerable like this out in the open, she just wanted him to know they weren't safe out here. If something did happen, Gerhardt would have to protect his Queen and Loccian seeing as she was sick and the healer knew little to nothing about fighting.

His wife stirred, clearly only barely conscious. He would take whatever he could get. The King continued to lightly prod her with his nose, feeling worried that she might drift off again before Loccian finished whatever concoction she was preparing. The King wondered how quickly it might take effect, and if it would be strong enough to cure Adette altogether. He wanted her healed immediately, but he knew that that was not probable. Loccian brought the mixture to his wife, and urged her to drink it. Gerhardt merely looked on, unable to do much to assist the situation other than stay beside his wife for support. Loccian went on to urge him to move her to Seracia. He knew that he would need to get her back to the Kingdom, but how? It was unlikely she could walk very well, but perhaps if they could get her to a standing position they could pin her between their shoulders and support most of her weight. "I agree, but I don't think it will be easy. How quickly will the herbs take effect?" He paused, looking from his feeble wife to Loccian. "If she has enough strength to stand we could take either side of her and lead her back while holding up her weight. What do you think?" It was a pity how helpless he felt, and how literally idea-less he was at the time. A King should have a plan for everything, but somehow he knew he could have never anticipated this. He still blamed himself nonetheless. He rose up onto his paws and to his full height, craning his head down to caress his wife's crown before adjusting his vision onto Lady Loccian. He did not wish to linger here long, and if Loccian had any other ideas of how to get his wife back, he would listen intently.

She waited for a few moments, then the healer gave her orders. She needed to drink whatever she had made. The queen did not protest, but he aching body did as she forced herself up so she could drink. She slowly lapped up the water, its refreshment felt amazing going down her dry throat. She couldn't remember the last time she had gotten a drink of water. She laid her head back down against the earth while she waited for the drink to take effect. She hoped it would be soon, because the two were considering dragging her back to Seracia. She wanted to go home, but she feared infection of others.

I agree, but I don't think it will be easy. How quickly will the herbs take effect?... If she has enough strength to stand we could take either side of her and lead her back while holding up her weight. What do you think? Loccian stood there, grey eyes watching the Queen reach over and start lapping at the herb filled water. Her ears were facing the King but she did not yet realize what it was that he was saying until she finally peeled her gaze away from the shewolf after making sure she would not throw it back up. She thought for a few moments, thoughts running through her head until she found what she needed. She lifted her head and looked to the King with a serious face. A couple minutes, half an hour at the longest. As for moving her we will have to do that, once she can stand then we move her like you said. She nodded her head quickly, glancing down at the shewolf then back to her King. We each get a side and support her.
