They couldn't go in the Bamboo. They had to be polite. They couldn't chomp too hard on the other kids. They couldn't roam too far. Why were there so many fucking rules down here? Björn was less than amused. At least the weather was good. Fairly sure he's been muddy and soggy for as long as he can remember, Björn couldn't complain. Grungy and muddy, the boy is living his best life. At least it wasn't thundering today. Björn ventured out to find someone to pester-- frankly hoping it would be Erik. There was something wrong with his elder brother, made him quiet. Meant that Björn didn't have to talk to him, didn't have to entertain or perform or even really behave. He could probably even get the older boy to take him exploring, as long as he promised not to be a shit... ideal. Stomping in muddy puddles as he went looking, Björn's keen gaze swept the Oaks. Erik, someone more fun, whichever came first. He wasn't going to be picky. BJÖRN Ragnarök awaits.

Kina

Once she'd made the journey to the Oaks by herself she felt more confident in going again. The visitors from the north were interesting and so far they seemed to be really good fighters. What better way to expand her knowledge than by sparring another one of them? Kina raced through the Dragon's Blood Grove over to the Oaks, diving into the under brush. She'd seen groups of coyotes wandering those lands lately and she had no interest in becoming a snack. Especially not for such icky, mangy creatures.

Kina trotted through the forest, looking for a good spot to have spar when she noticed a dark-pelted boy with horns. He looked to be about her age, perfect! She cleared her throat. "Hello. My name is Hattori Kina, I am looking for someone to spar. Would you wish to duel me?"

She's pale and pretty, catching the harbinger's eye as she moves through the Oaks. High steps, taking careful note of his surroundings. Furtive glances, taking in the way the oak trees themselves seem to smell. It's different than back home, and certainly far more damp. Strange and different, but exciting all the same. It feels so alive, but in a different way than the Maw. The trees, the creatures in the understory, all of it. Björn can feel it. The girl, yes. Björn's gaze rakes over her, taking in the pale, elegant creature. Kina. "Björn Trygg." A smile slipping over his features, a fire lighting in his eyes. Turning to square his shoulders to the girl, head canting to the side. "Please do." He dipped his muzzle, setting his posture carefully over all four paws. BJÖRN Ragnarök awaits.

Kina

The boy introduced himself as Björn Trygg and he gracious accepted her request for a spar. She smiled politely and stepped back to give them a good starting space. She quickly set her defenses, her fur and hackles raised. Her ears pinned to her head and her tail tucked. With rowdy brothers she'd learn the hard way to keep her ears and tail out of reach. Should she try a combination attack? She had yet to try. Determination set in her eyes. Yes, today she would try.

Kina kicked off the ground, her claws shredding the grass as she launched herself forward. She aimed to step to her right and slide along Björn's left side as she sought to throw her chest into his knee. At the same time her head darted forward, seeking to nip at his side where his left hind leg connected.
