Kina

With each fight her knowledge grew and Kina was eager to continue her challenge. She had been thinking of a few moves, a few combinations to try and she was eager to experiment on her siblings and see if her efforts were paying off. Clouds gathered in the sky, low and dark. It was likely to rain soon and she enjoyed sparring outside the most. If she was to get another in and meet her goal of five spars in one week she needed to move quickly.

Kina scampered to the outdoor training grounds, her pale coat standing out sharply against the bamboo. Settling in a clearing she debated who to call. Maybe Seiko would spar? Might as well give it a try and if not maybe they could go play or make something inside when it started to rain. Kina tipped back her head and called for her sibling.

Trying to keep up with her siblings was a full time job, but doing so wasn't something Seiko would complain about. As they were growing older and exploring more of the world they were all advancing quickly, and always finding ways to best one another. Proving she could hold her own against them was something she quite enjoyed and she wasted no time in answering Kina's call, returning it with one of her own before she made her way to the training grounds. She'd yet to spar with her pale sibling and she wondered what she'd learned so far. It was hard keeping track of everyone all the time, given how big her family was, so time spent with any of them was always a plus. Loping toward her, a smile and polite enough head nod was offered. "Tryin'a wrestle?" Seiko asked, looking like she was antsy to get started. She didn't fight dirty, even if it was one of her siblings, so she held back and waited for a cue before she'd start.

Kina

Kina shifted her paws, claws kneading at the ground as she tried to get a feel for the texture. It wasn't terribly muddy today but it was still damp. She could work with that, though she had a feeling her mother was going to haul her off to the stream for yet another bath after her sparring was done for the day. Seiko soon arrived and picked up on exactly what she was hoping. Kina nodded respectfully to her sister. "Yes, I have a goal I want to reach and I wish to spar." Kina stepped back to give them a bit more room before setting her defenses, making sure to pin her ears and tuck her tail. She waited til Seiko looked ready before she went on the offensive. Kina sprinted forward aiming to close the distance between herself and her sister before attempting to slip along Seiko's right side. Her head dove down as she tried to get her sister's right ankle in between her jaws.

Kina thus far appeared to be one of her more serious siblings. She returned the nod given to her, adding a polite smile to the greeting when she spoke up and confirmed that she did indeed what to spar. Perfect. "And what goal might that be?" She asked, curious. Maybe she was on a quest to win a spar against each one of her siblings. Surely that wasn't quite what she had in mind, but it was an amusing thought anyway, watching Kina make the rounds and try to best all her siblings. Maybe Seiko would have to make that one of her own goals... There wasn't much time for talking before Kina charged her, and Seiko settled into a defensive stance as best as she could. Wasn't like she'd had a whole lot of training thus far, but she intended to do her best. At the last second Kina slipped to Seiko's right side and she tried to react, trying to shuffle away, though not before Kina caught her right front ankle between her jaw. She'd aim to swing her lower half around to her left, hoping to pull the rest of her body out of Kina's grasp, at least for a moment. While she did that, she lowered her head and tried to headbutt Kina just under her jaw, aiming her horn nubs at her throat. They weren't particularly sharp, but they were hard enough to hopefully send her stumbling backwards. Kina

Kina's fangs found purchase on her sister's wrist but only for a moment as her sister shuffled to the side and twisted around. Kina also twisted her rear end behind her trying to bring herself back to facing her sister head on. As Seiko's head dived for her own Kina bounded forward, seeking to counter by bashing her head into her sisters. They both had sets of nubs and she was intrigued by the idea of trying to fight like a goat, unaware that the impact would not be at all pleasant. All the while she kept her ears pinned and her hackles raised as well as keeping her tail tucked between her legs, just in case.

They were moving fast, not giving Seiko much time to think about her next move. She had to act on instinct alone, and for a kid with no real fighting experience yet save for brawls with her siblings, she didn't have much else to go off of. She decided not to pull away when Kina moved to headbutt her, instead hoping to dig her heels into the ground and hold strong as she charged. The pain wasn't the worst thing ever, the nubs of their horns not quite sharp or significant enough to do damage, but it did make her head hurt enough to rethink continuing to push into her. Instead she chose to pull back sharply, hoping maybe she could cause Kina to fall over and Seiko could climb on her and overpower her for a moment..
