coming to the desert for a good time wasn't an obvious sport for anyone. but he hoped to find entertainment that stood out-, wanting & longing for his next
he makes his way over until he pauses, sitting at the brink of the waterhole that seemed to glitter. erebos was a nocturnal wolf during these times; finding comfort in the dark. the tall male then shifts his weight when he lowers his neck to extend for a drink, his jowls parting for a moment as his tongue comes to lap at the cooler liquid below. swallowing till satisfied, as he did with most things.

he sees her a mile away, coming in hot with little assessment of her surroundings. a fatal mistake had she crept upon the wrong one. erebos prided himself on being higher than; strategic with his cruelties, deserving them. while a dangerous one, he was not a tactless wolf. he was decisive, cunning and precise when he shot.
the wolf seen is one that resembles a koi fish; having horns and seemingly split by the face with an impressive height. she had a peculiar visage he would not forget easily as his orbs looked her up then down. he judges her with a steady gaze, watching her gulp water down with eagerness. she's but a few steps away as she finally pauses to take notice of erebos who stood towering near above her. yet still, his eyes are hardened upon her image, his face seemingly voided of emotion.
as she looks up, she seems to glare at his girth. what was she doing?- his ears twitch with question. she greeted him as if he just appeared, rousing more confusion in him. "you are a strange one, whelp." he spoke bluntly with baritone tunes.

she seemed in a be in her own bubble-, a world erebos wanted nothing to do with. god forbid it was contagious.. he seats himself, taking that she was no obvious threat, if one at all. still, her size was one that he'd watch for, calculative eyes darting over her horns and face. taking mental notes; 'a Klein?,' he thinks, must've been a family. "No, not a Klein," his deep voice assured her, his eyes lifting from their harsher glare by now. "A dunamis."
erebos finally does her the decency to reply her previous question- partially. "You're a yearling yes?" he took an educated guess; she was a big one, but her youth spilt past her dual tone eyes. she a beautiful wolf at that, hopefully she lived to become graceful one day. "Are you a healer?" he asked for his own reasons, secretive for now.

A Dunamis? She'd never heard of that name before and her curious slow blink said as much, it wasn't as if it was a big deal or nothing. But she certainly was intrigued by his aloof demeanour, a sort of I'm better than you, girl vibe that she picked up on quickly, even if it didn't seem as though she had. She was stewing away, brows pinching in thought, mentally scrawling away notes- because how could she not be inspired? He was so cool!
"Ah? Oh yeah," she was indeed over a year old or so. Though if you asked her exact age she'd shrug with a dunno, it wasn't like it was something she kept a track of. Maybe she ought to though. She was clearly fascinated by him, hanging off his every word as she stepped a little closer, paws splishing in the shallow water of the oasis. "Erm, dunno much 'bout plants. You hurt?"

her response was lame and frankly disappointing. by now, he'd learn to not expect so much from the girl. but she seemed to do her own learning, her eyes glued on him as she stepped forward. his brow briefly quirked up, his gaze unwavering. "What on earth are you doing child?" he said in a lowly grumble. his ears flattened for a second as he glanced at the pool before returning to her face.
she looked fascinated, her eyes fixating on his form some more. he tolerated it well nonetheless, but perhaps he ought to remain distant. "No, not hurt." he lies. finding no use in spilling his whereabout too much. she knew his last name- and he only let on what he had to for the time being. everything else though.. "Where do you come from?" he inquired, selectively attempting to know more about her residence. perhaps it would shed light on who he was bound to, had they known & heard of the oddity named Medusa. still, he's careful not to exchange information on his behalf, or insomnia's-, as he knows the game at play.
