Why his mother had left the organising to him was anyone's guess, it wasn't like Kenway was exactly renowned for his reliability, but she seemed to be doing more of that lately, delegating responsibilities to her offspring, as if it were some sort of test to see if they could stand on their own four paws without her...
He'd be a liar if he didn't admit it troubled him.
Watching his girls drag sacks and stacks into place, Sakana's monkey and Corsair staking out ropes to hold the little awnings in place, he didn't miss the way his girls were eyeing the livestock traders who had travelled all the way down on his mother's invitation. He'd put the word out as best he could, and hoped others would come to trade their wares as well, there were plenty of sheltered spots for them to set up to sell their stock. It was a more central alternative to travelling all the way to the North, but it wasn't a permanent set up by any means. They only meant to hold it once a season.
On the eastern side of the wall that marked the livestock grazing range for the Moor, almost on the banks of Wolfpaw Lake, the little tent city was almost completed. The sun was beginning to sink in the sky, and he made his way towards the bonfire by the food stalls. He supposed now was as good a time as any to get the fire going and signal the start of trading. He'd soaked the wood in some of his signature moonshine, so it went up with a violent whomp and the boy chuckled, grateful to have spared his brows in the process.
Now that was over with, he would continue to mill and meander about, an extra set of paws and jaws to jump in should they be required. He signaled to his girls to get his barrel ready, he'd have a better range of view with just a bit more height.

The young girl sat there, her little stand made of stones big enough for her to roll near the larger one in the center. Off to the left was Kenway starting the fire with whatever it was in the jar that made the blaze so bright and beautiful. Along her little stand was carved meat from the hog that she proudly taken care of, of course with her sisters help. Sure it wasn't the best, but it'd do. The hog was already smoked and preserved the best way that she could. Sagittarius had sat there watching the fire and other siblings help him with his own stand. Allowing a giggle to break free, she watched others slowly begin to show up, watching and waiting. That is all the youngster could do right now. She'd wait for that of her parents and others to gather before she roamed and made alliances with everyone. Turning her attention to the muddied brute known as Kenway and stuck her tongue out at him for a moment. Her tail wagging behind her in a excited manner.

Lyra was excited and she could not contain it, her little body swayed from the momentum of her happy tail wags. There would be so much to do! So many things to try. People to watch!! How exciting! The small girl would walk up to her sister Sagittarius smiling, "Hi sissy!" she greeted. Rubbing her nose and cheek along her sisters shoulder in a brief nuzzle.
Even Kenway was there, another older sibling. Due to their lack of interaction, she was too shy to say hello in the same manner she did to Sag. Instead she offered a shy nod, avoiding eye contact. Quietly she watched him start the fire and some of the wood had a scent that burned her nostrils, causing her to snort. Whatever he doused the wood in caused it to go up in a wonderful blaze. She smiled in awe.
Did they really have to wait? There was so many tents! She was eager.

A market meant a festival which then meant drinking. It had been awhile since Scald had drank liberally, but tonight would change that. Kenway had worked hard getting traders from all over to attend which meant that there would be a wide variety of booze out and about the lands. While he was one of the oldest Raider pups to attend, it didn't mean he had to be the responsible one. This was Kenway's deal after all and as long as he was there to help break up fights, surely their parents wouldn't fuss over him having a few drinks. Or... plenty. Arriving promptly behind the gaggle of pups, Scald skirts his way around the group toward the closest stall with dark bottles lining its counter. With an easy exchange of wares, Scald gathers his bottle, stashing one or two in a borrow satchel, and turns to find a comfortable place to hangout. Tonight, he was simply the backup, the guard, the bouncer. Whatever he needed to be to ensure everything went decently okay without too much rowdiness. Taking a hearty swig, he plants himself down in the grass near Ken's bonfire and gets settled in for the night. |

Modesty moved between the stalls, checking ropes and canopies, making sure all the traders had what they needed to get through the evening. Colour her impressed, Kenway hadn't done a half-bad job setting up.
The lighting of the fire signaled the start of trading and she spotted a familiar cattle dog weaving between the crowds. She was easy to spot with her height and pelage, and once he spotted her too, he moved with that intense focus only working dogs seemed to have. They made their way together towards the livestock pens, but it wasn't the wares she was interested in today. In fact, he'd probably be taking a few of the more troublesome goats with him when he left. "No word, I presume?" His shaking head was all the confirmation she needed. She nodded and pressed some gems into his paw regardless. With the traders keeping an eye out on their travels, more ground could be covered than if it was just the Raider's alone looking for the missing children.
