All we are is what we made
Judilian Band Meeting
Tilting her head back, she called for the rest of the Judilian Band to join her. Dear family and friends who were helping her to build a kingdom of their own. She was proud of each of them, but now was a time to buckle down. Summer would lead to fall and fall to winter, there was much preparing to do. The spotted dire woman lowered her head after her song and waited for her family to come.
OOC: This is a mandatory meeting - please respond by 10/20/24 :: If you cannot post by this date, please let Bird know and we will figure something out.
Her companion, Bigs, is assumed to be with her unless otherwise mentioned. As her betrothed, Azriel is allowed in any of her threads, regardless of tag or label. |
Fairytale had been so excited especially being able to completely see. It was something all, entirely new for the girl, her tail lashing violently back and forth behind her slender and sleek frame. She watched butterflies in the midsummer sun. That's when Atreyus song sang out, for them all to gather. Fairytale began to think what this summon was about. Did she perhaps do something completely wrong? She lowered her head slightly, hopefully she didn't do anything to upset the woman. As Fairytale came up towards Atreyu, she didn't appear to be pissed off, thank god! Her tail once more picking up that excited pace behind her. A smile wrapping her lips as she looked around, seeing that no one had showed up yet.
They made it to a spot and Atreyu let out her call to the band. She was demanding them all. Good he would be taking note on who did and didn't show up. He watched as a smaller albino woman came up and his eyes narrowed, his form sliding from the shadows, dual tones on the woman. Quills rose as he came and seated himself beside Atreyu. Possessive and defensive of his queen and betrothed. Not that the little thing probably stood much chance but he hadn't met this female. He would wait though.
Atreyu would have an explanation he was certain but until then the female was unknown and not off the hook.
Azriel can be a mature and volatile character, please proceed with caution. His threads can contain triggers and mature content please be aware of this when threading with him.
Weeks became months and the scarred woman had mostly kept to herself, wandering and working on her skills keeping it away from sneaking eyes. Petra wasn't used to share her things, secrecy being a trait in her that she wasn't going to let go off it that easily.
As she made her way through the Gulley, she heard her sister's summon and sighing to herself she approached. Adjsuting the remaining eye to the light and making sure not to get lost, her nose working her way to where their leader was. She arrived finding Azriel, Atreyu and Fairytale. She gave each a quiet nod before taking a seat to listen to Atreyu's words.
Vayne was never far away, and honestly today he had found himself within Fern Gulley lately. Although the weather was rough, it was still slightly different. The way the grasses crumbled under his heavy paws. Ears twisted forwards as sound from his sister calling to them all forth. To emerge from the shadows of the woods they were hiding within. He's been tired lately, maybe a small head cold. But, other than that he was feeling well. And being part of his sisters band had made him feel a lot better and more welcomed. He's been silent dealing with his own trauma. He sat down right on the outskirts of the gathering family members. His eyes tracing over everyone, taking in their different scents. His tail giving a slight curl against his side. As the masculine would wait to listen to what Atreyu would want to speak to them all about.

Oath arrived shortly after Fairytale, catching sight of her tail wagging with excitement as she stood near Atreyu. A smile tugged at the corners of his mouth, feeling a sense of calm knowing she was by his side. Her new ability to see filled him with pride, and he silently admired her wonder as she took in the sights.
Approaching them both, he gave a nod to Atreyu before gently nudging Fairytale with his muzzle in greeting. His cyan eyes glanced over the landscape Atreyu had chosen: it was promising. With a low murmur, he said, “Looks like a good spot. We’ll be ready for whatever winter throws at us.” His gaze shifted to Fairytale, the warmth in his eyes softening his voice as he added, "Everything will be alright."
Oath has two Red-Tailed Hawks, Icarus and Nyx, that may assumed to be nearby at anytime.
Vayne was the next to arrive, his silent ways not missed as he took his seat. Atreyu gave him a nod of greeting as well and smiled again, happy to see that her family was mostly here already. Oath had followed Fairytale to the meeting, and she could see the two of them getting closer each day. Approaching the lead pair, Oath spoke his approval before taking his spot next to Fairytale. "I believe so. It holds promise, though we will winter in a warmer place this year." She was already growing weary of the nomadic life, moving every season was growing tiresome and she wanted somewhere more permanent for her family to thrive in. The last to arrive at the meeting was Alaric, with his dogs in tow. Bigs ran up to the pair of Corsos excitedly and greeted them in typical small dog fashion, by barking and tipping at them until they paid him attention. Dipping her head to her mentor, Atreyu smiled at him as well and waited for everyone to settle before she began the meeting.
Taking a settling breath, Atreyu looked over everyone with those distinctive holographic eyes and a smile. "I have called you all here today to discuss the future of Judila. I know the Gulley is a nice place to be right now, soon winter will take the bounty we have in this place and I would like to be prepared when that happens. Next season I plan to move us once more, and I want to know if anyone has explored enough to say where we should go next. I have scouted a few places, but I want your opinions." She would pause then, letting everyone voice their thoughts, and try to work out the best place for them amongst themselves as well. There was more to this meeting, but for now she wanted to hear what her family had to say so far. As for the second part of the meeting, Atreyu wasn't sure they had enough knowledge about the packs around Boreas and Auster. This would have to change if she was going to find them a permanent home in the near future.
OOC: Next round is due before 10/31/24, if you can't post just let me know <3

Although the females were of the same age. She had come to enjoy Atreyus time, how she called and talked to her family around her. Fixing her glasses upon her facial features she turned to look to Azriel. A friendly nod and smile offered to the larger brute. Although he didn't appear to be too amused to have someone so new within the territory close to Atreyus family.
Then another had come close to them, the other woman not saying too much. Then there was Oath, and her heart jumped, excitement racing threw the small woman. Her paws dancing under her frame. Then a few others arrived. A large male she had meant before by the name of Vayne moved towards his one sister in a protective manner.
As she had began to speak, she nuzzled her head once more against Oath in an affectionate manner. "I know it will love. Your sister is wise beyond her years. And would make one of the best alphas I have ever meant." She said softly, almost a whisper.
"Hello everyone. I can start exploring if needed, these glasses help lots. So I will start scouting and finding out more information I can for you all and the makings of Judilia."
"speech"
Azriel watched, ear turning to Atreyu as everyone filed in. None given more attention than the other, until Oath. Eyes narrowed as he was betrayed in the moment. Oath ignored him for the tiny creature Atreyu had dubbed Fairytale. Hackles rose and quills that had laid flat now rose as the muscles below tensed. A man who he had promises with and loved him regardless of his words previously, was letting this tiny femme come before Azriel, before the demigod. Lips twitched as a quiet growl came forth, so quiet only Atreyu might hear it as her words filled the air around them. Oath made his alliances known, the creature had bewitched him there was no other explanation. The words shared between Atreyu and Oath settled nothing as he was further ignored.
The meeting started and Azriel took deep breaths, to soothe his wounded heart and pride. Atreyu asked for where they should move and he held his tongue when the fae who had bewitched his best friend spoke. His turn came after though. "The island to the south beyond the land bridge should be an excellent place. Fortified against weather and touched by the gods, I would think of no place more fit for our kingdom to settle for now. There is only one way on the island and that is to swim, we would see all enemies as they come." He was tactical, moving his dual colored Kiska-kissed gaze to the entire group gathered there. He was counting numbers as he did so. Seven, they were seven strong for now. They needed warriors. More members and some he could trust. "It brings me to another point. We lack resources and warriors. Alaric, you are an accomplished warrior, your mettle tested by myself and spoken of by Atreyu, I'm appointing you my general. Are there any packs smaller than ours that we might take advantage of that you know of? If you know none then, you, Fairytale was it? Scout packs and find me a target. I wish to raid for supplies and train our warriors on the battlefield through actual combat where stakes are raised. The experience will do us all good." He dared any to stop him. As Atreyu's equal the only one who could was her and even she would see his reasoning. Plus sending the fae away might loosen her spell on Oath. His eyes turned first to Alaric, then to Fairytale. Ears pricked and quills still standing to show his displeasure of the fae.
Until her spell on Oath was broken she would be afforded his protection though. He would keep his suspicions under wraps though, for now. Throwing accusations publicly would do him no good, though he knew Oath better than all here.
