He was ready to return home. At least...he hoped he still had a home to return to. He felt ashamed of himself for leaving without a word, but he felt he couldn't tell anyone where he was going or why. The where part, he had no clue. The why part, however, well...he felt ashamed to admit to the others that it made him feel weak after his accident. The migraines. The stutters. The memory loss...things kept piling on after his incident during the flood, and the only one that knew of his building weakness was Grimoire. The earthen male had decided to go with him. To make sure he wasn't alone despite Ansem's protests to stay home. But truth be told, he was grateful for the Ancoran's presence. It made him feel not so alone...

And now that his own journey was over, they were returning home. He felt strong enough now. Confident now that he had found someone that had truly helped him find a way to manage his life better. The migraines were long gone. His memory stronger. The stutter still there, but that was minor compared to the other stuff he had been plagued with. That was something he could live with. Unsure if he would be welcomed with open arms, he approached the border and tilted his head back, calling for his mother. Or Basilisk. Or whoever he needed to greet first. He didn't know what all had changed in his absence, but better safe than sorry. Taking a deep breath, he steeled himself, swallowing back the worry and anxiety that threatened him.

"Speech!"

He caught up with the younger male, arriving in time as Ansem howled at the border. Grimoire was glad to be back at last, and while he could detect the hint of anxiety and worry from his young charge, Grimoire didn't feel that. He was stoic in his stance and demeanor as he came up beside the younger wolf. Though he too, was unsure if they would be welcomed back or chased off, there was really only one way to find out. The earthen male sat down, remaining quiet as he waited for whomever to show up. Like Ansem, he wasn't sure what all had changed in their absence, but hopefully they'd find out in due time. Whether or not there would be consequences for leaving without a word, he wasn't sure. Also something he was sure they'd find out soon enough. For now, he would wait in silence beside the anxious young Fatalis...
