|| "Thoughts"
The sandy woman needed to get away. Needed to get some fresh air. Especially with the looks that Enyo gave her once in a while. It wasn't fair and was in all honesty driving Identification crazy. She made her way out from the territory of Insomnia. Her mind often trailing back to the time spent with Scald. He was gentle and in a sense different. He treated her with respect and he seems to be very loyal to his family. Which made t he woman think of him more. But would Erebos allow her to go? Would Medusa allow her to leave? It was something she would need to figure out, but right now she needed to see him. But found herself on the outskirts of Druid's Moor. Before she came here, she did wash up over at Wolfpaw Lake, a smile crossing her lips. A call sent out to Scald as she sat at the boarders for a few moments.
She'd trail herself all the way up towards Firestorm Grotto. It was hard to seek out but not in a sense she'd never find the area, just took her a little bit. She climbed the difficult path that veered up the face of the mountain. She entered the grotto as she came up to the entrance, it was damp and cooler than the heat she's been feeling. Her eyes fell upon the fire opals that shimmered and shined along with sapphires of tangerine hues.
Her breath was stolen, catching it as her emerald pools looked over the natural beauty. Never seeing anything like this. Moving further in and finding a hiding spot that she could surprise her friend, her tail danced behind her a moment, before eyes setting on a cluster of sapphires, and dipping behind them as she lowered down onto the floor of the grotto.
The howl at the border had Scald heading there out of curiosity. The tone of the howl was familiar, a voice he hadn't heard in a bit. Where had she gone off too since he'd last seen her at the market? Though he wouldn't admit it out loud, he had enjoyed her company. Her soft spoken, but honest nature was fun to be around and it made it easy to relax. But by the time he reached the border, Fic was gone and only her scent on the wind was left. In the distance, he thought he saw her trailing north, but he couldn't be too sure.
Following the scent without another moment to waste, Scald trailed after the blond fae. Heading north to colder territories, Scald cursed under his breath, but continued on. Through the warrens of the col and up into a grotto full of glittering gems and water trickling down its walls. Still he couldn't find her. Letting out a call, he searches through the shadows for her. "Darlin', one can only hide fer so long," he calls out, a smirk lining his charcoal lips.

Disaster
The maiden was watching him from within the concealment the belle had found. His vocals giving away his position as well, a smile unfolded from her darkened lips. Knowing all to well to not give her posture away just yet. Her own voice flowing forth echoing and bouncing off the walls of the grotto. The game of cat and mouse was always amusing to her though. And she didn't honestly want to give her position away just right yet. His scent was upon the gentle wind that blew threw out the grotto.
"But isn't it always fun to find the one whos hiding though, making the reward worth while?" She smiled as watching his onyx frame slip into the shadows, wrapping around him like a blanket. "If you find me darling, I will give you all the cuddles threw the night. But what does the woman get if she wins our little game?" Her vocals holding a sensual tone, a flirty one at that.
The moment Fic's voice lit the chilled air, Scald's ears were able to pinpoint. The more he listened to her sensual, flirtatious tones, the closer he drew. Sticking closer to the shadows of the glimmering corridors, he was able to creep closer. Practiced, quiet steps drew him toward the fae until he rounded the corner and found the little alcove where she was hiding. Peeking around to meet her green gaze, he smirks and nods his head out toward the wider area of the grotto.
"Follow and you will find out what your prize is," he murmurs, tone deepening into an enticed rumble. Reaching out to kiss his nose against her nose gently for a second before he turns to lead her to a more comfortable area. Where the gems growing through the walls catch the light that streams from above. Everywhere they look, a new color dazzles before them. In the ceiling, the rock has faded away and water drizzles down from above. Plants have been able to grow here, providing a space comfortable enough to lay down.
"Perfect, is it not?" Scalds says as he moves to lay down and motion her to join him.

The woman didn't hear him arriving before it was too late, he was silent upon his paws that carried the brute across the corridors that enclosed them from the world outside. It was a time for them, a time for them to enjoy the company of one another. A playful gasp of breath was withdrawn as she meant that of his own gaze. Soft laughter also filled the area. Fall was setting in around them both, as she allowed her ears to perk at the feel of his nose against her own.
The woman would follow him, unblinded how she was feeling about the male. Her tail giving a gentle wave around behind her. While her eyes traced the outlines of the grotto, the colors casting from the gems all around them given way to the light from the ceiling. The water that fell down freely, giving plants a new breath of life. Her breathe was taken as she looked across the lands.
"And to think you've seen beautiful areas..." Her voice was breathless. "Is nothing compared to here." Coming up beside him, as she nuzzled her frame against his own. It was stunning, breathtaking. Lowering down as close as she could to him, a smile crossing her lips. Placing her one paw over his own.
Scald is as patient as ever. His eyes linger on Fic as she wanders over. Admiring her blond frame and dazzling green eyes. He feels his heart beat a little faster. Something about her, being with her, feels more real than anything else. More than with Ely or Wenna. Those were just fun, something to get caught up in. Fic, no she was different. She deserved more and he hoped he could prove that.
A pleased rumble leaves his lips as she settles down beside him. Nestled in the alcove, private and comfortable, Scald rests his muzzle closer to her cheek and wraps her up tighter, nearly enveloping her smaller frame. "Nothing as beautiful as you," he murmurs quietly into her ear, nipping lightly at the spot just below it.
"If you would like, your prize is me making love to you," Scald speaks softly, sincerely, his heterochromatic gaze meeting hers, holding it. His heart thumps a little harder, a little louder as his breathing picks up. "Only if you want though. I don't want to pressure you." He keeps close to her only if she'll allow it. He wants to share the beauty of the grotto with her in more ways than just admiring the scenery.

She was there with him, everything about right now felt perfect. Like the duo were meant to be here this very moment. Everything about it was breathtaking. He was always so patient, knowing either could not be rushed into anything. The heart was thumping, threatening to break free from the cage of her bones surrounding close in. Identification feels him pulling her tighter against his frame. Listening to his whispered song drift from his throat and ebony lips for her and only her ears to listen.
And the woman felt beautiful beside him. So very beautiful. And here she was beside the handsome figure she had come to know as Scald. Allowing her eyes to drift close as he nipped tenderly under her ear. If she could her cheeks would become bright pink from the heat that glowed there. Once more he speaks out.
Speechless for a moment or so as their gazes meant, holding and unwavering. Lifting her paw to brush along his neck, she'd place kisses along his jaw tenderly, lovingly. "Handsome, I've been waiting for you." Her voice becoming slightly huskier as pressing her lips against his before pulling away, savoring the taste of his lips upon hers.
She presses her body against his darker frame more securely, feeling safe. But maybe she wouldn't be as good as the other women he's shared his bed with. Pushing the thoughts from her mind, she purred out to Scald.
Her invite is obvious and enticing. He greets her lips with a firm press of his own, eyelids fluttering closed. Sighing softly as they part, he smiles at her husky words. This indeed was a moment he had been waiting for. Now they wouldn't need to wait anymore. Trailing soft, tender kisses along her cheek, Scald presses back. Their bodies mold together in a joining of obsidian and blond. A true yin and yang that formed a symbol of peace.

Deliciously exhausted providing pleasure and comfort to Fic, Scald slides back to her side in a warming cuddle. Resting his head by hers, he licks at her muzzle, that soft smile still on his grey lips. "Was it worth the wait?" He murmurs quietly, chuckling lightly.

She laid there beside him, his scent wrapping around her like a security blanket. Feeling his kisses that trailed down along her cheek. Her body accepting him.

Once he was beside her once more, Identification allowed her pink lips to meet his own once again. The time they shared together was always so magical. Moments would never be stolen from her nor him.. Hearing the light chuckle. "It was amazing." She nuzzled against him. "I hope it was also worth the wait for you." She whispers to him, enjoying being cuddled close to him and the scene around the blond and obsidian duo.
