Fia was making her way back south for a mission Deimos had given her for The Hallows. She had done the trek at least once before, but it was so much different now. She was alone. Stolas wasn't by her side, no one was. And now that she was away from home again, and actually away, she was left with the crippling anxiety she used the drink for. She thought it best to leave it at home. While she was on pack business she wouldn't tarnish her name or Elysium's. That didn't mean she wouldn't try to sway for a bottle or two on the way out. But she'd be professional when she arrived. It was the best she could do.
A bag of goods for the trade with The Hallows, she found a place to call it a night before she crossed to Auster. Before it was from Ashen, and now it was just wherever put a roof over her head she guessed. There was still barely any light left across the southern shores, she left her bag inside the cavern before heading out to the obsidian beach to lay and just... enjoy the surroundings. Fia was never big on sleep, but she would still find the time to rest when she needed it. Enough to get her to tomorrow at least. Alone with her thoughts. It would be hard to get through the night.

Scylla had given him free reign to do as his heart desired, and his first task he assigned himself was to search for Siren. Albion had headed Southward, to the last place she had been seen before the fall of Ashen. It seemed like the best place to start or at least begging to look for clues to her whereabouts. Chimera was sick, otherwise he knew the once King would have been out here searching for her himself. Much time had passed since they were all in the same place together, but that didn’t diminish his passion and love for his tiny mother.
He knew in his heart she was out here somewhere, he just had to find her. The day was winding down and Albion needed to find his shelter for the night. He wasn’t particularly fussed about having a den to sleep in, but a nice tree to keep him dry while he rested would suffice. He lucked out, finding the cavern but even more lucky was the familiar scent that lingered.
His pale blue eyes flashed sa he found the slender frame of the Mendacium out on the dark sands. His large alabaster paws carried him towards her, a brow raised and a smirk playing on his lips. "Look what we have here.” He muttered from his deep chest as he came to a halt close beside her.

She was lost in the rays of the sunset as Albion's pawsteps quietly approached her side. It seemed they both had those silent steps despite their large size, but she wasn't startled by his sudden appearance. Even though she had been through some traumatic events lately, Fia was a strong woman capable of herself. She had already shown that, she had no fear if it were to happen again.
She could only grow a familiar grin at the sight of Albion. A gentle eye looking up towards him before the continued contented grin looked back out towards the shores. "Fate I suppose." She commented though, she never really thought the two would never cross paths again. She could muse the idea though. "Back for more I hope?" She let out just a soft quick chuckle, showing she wasn't wholly serious if he didn't really want to continue the shared affection of their last encounter. Patting the ground beside her, she offered him the place to join her. "I'd enjoy the company regardless." She liked to play with the idea of drawing him in. She had high confidence, and would be crushed had he denied her advances. But she liked to poke the bear a bit. She liked the ones who gave in, but she also liked those who played hard to get. She liked to find new ways to draw their attention.

Albion ignored any indication that he had startled her, that was far from his intention anyway. Fiameta had proved herself a strong individual and Albi had no desire to undermine that fact. He had no idea what she had been through either, though he could guess that something had happened to her in recent memory. The liquor was what gave him that clue, but unless she told him outright Albion had no idea.
What he would focus on was the way he made her grin as he approached. She let out a small chuckle as she mentioned him returning for more. He had to admit that she had left him wanting the last time they had been together. "I could be.” He answered cryptically. She invited him closer, patting the ground beside her as she admitted to enjoying his company at the very least.
He raised his eyebrows, curious if she would leave him once again, but accepted her invitation. He sauntered closer, reclining onto his striped haunches beside her. "What brings you all the way out here?” He questioned. Albion was in search of his dam, who he would hopefully find safe and sound. She had been missing for a while now. What was she doing so far from Elysium?

She liked that he could play along, a little indication that he briefly liked her company as well, regardless that he had only just shown a minute ago. She wouldn't pester him for the moment, instead enjoy the darkening skies across the black shores as he joined beside her. As if maybe they were friends or something. At the very least allies she thought. She wasn't very harsh to others in general anyways. But Albion hadn't given her any reason to chase him away.
She kind of rolled her eyes as he had asked what brought her to the southern shores. It was a few seconds before anything left her mouth showing her deteste of the subject. "Ava's given the pack to our uncle." Was that really such a bad thing? Perhaps not. But Fia grew up as the spoiled princess she was. That didn't make her incapable of much, she knew how to hold her own. But the idea that her sister, and her mother, was now pushed onto her uncle's line. She didn't like it. "I'm going to The Hallows to make a delivery." Plain and simple. Nothing of how she was trying to keep her true bloodline in the top of the pack. If it was her and Ava, that would be enough.
Turning her laid body in towards him, propping her head up on her paw as she looked up at him she questioned, "Kleins are nocturnal?" Same as Elysium as far as she could remember. Her other paw reached up to softly brush down his leg, perhaps hoping to be a little more inviting than she already had been. "So you could just be out for a stroll then."

Albion would have admitted outright that he enjoyed Fiametta’s company, but he couldn’t brush off the feeling that she wanted him to play along with her antics. However easily she could have had him already playing hard to get and stringing each other along was much more amusing. Would he have called them friends? Perhaps, or more than that even considering the amount of flirting they did.
He prowled lightly around her, eventually accepting her invitation to sit beside her. Perhaps a bit closer than he might have normally. Alvion tried to discern any kind of emotion as she revealed that Avacyn had rescinded the throne. He himself had to hide his own surprise. She had been so eager to rule, for a time she had put her own desires away for the position. Even so far as betrothing herself to him. He’d done his best to forget about her and what they had once shared. As he sat beside Fia he felt a similar emotion stirring. Did he care for the red marked woman at his side?
"That all makes sense, no reason to be lying I suppose.” He joked softly as he leaned into her and she continued with a question. "Yes, most of us anyway. Too long in the sun and I start to go crisp. Delicate skin.” Albi told her nonchalantly before she went on about him possibly just being on a stroll. "I’m on a mission. My mother went missing not long after Ashen fell. I’m determined to find her.” And he would, and she would be alive. His mind was swiftly drawn from Siren back to Fia as her paw gently traced his leg and a mischievous grin found its way to his features.

It did seem the more they spent together, the more Fia was willing to let things fall naturally. Maybe it was Albion's current, or perhaps more accurate, prior relation to Elysium and her sister that made her want to appease him so easily. A little playful chit chat, but she didn't want to push the banter into harsher territory. She could have wanted the game but this, well maybe this wasn't quite that. She was just too blind to think any other way.
Just for a few seconds her gleeful grin faded as he mentioned coming to look her his mother. "Oh." She felt heartened to the subject because, easy enough, "I'd be the same way." The way their blood and families ran was so similar, even closer to the idea of Albion and his siblings and Fia with hers. But had Manea disappeared well, Alastor would probably die trying to find her. It seemed Albion would be the one in this case. Though Fia would be pretty determined to see her mother again in the least.
"I suppose..." She went to lighten the mood again a bit, the same soft paw raising up his shoulder as she lifted herself off the ground a little as well, her chest now leaning into his shoulder as she whispered in his ear. "You'd enjoy my company on your journey too?" He didn't seem to want to avoid her advances, but she didn't want to step too far over the edge if he was down about his mother with it being brought up. "It seems we're alone on the beach. Sorry I don't have any wine to celebrate this time."
