The forest's stillness wrapped around them, broken only by the sound of the wind rushing past them as Oath led Fairytale and Atreyu along the narrow, uneven path of the fjord. The climb up had left his muscles aching, and now they faced the challenge of finding a safe place to rest before the chill of night set in.

"We need shelter," Oath murmured, mostly to himself, his cyan eyes scanning the rockface. "Something to keep us out of the wind and hidden." He slowed his pace, studying the area around them, his reflective horns catching the fading light.

A cluster of trees growing close together nearby, their wide trunks and low hanging branches forming a natural nook. Oath motioned for them to stop. "Here, this could work," he said, his voice steady despite the fatigue he could feel creeping in. "I'll need both of you to help me gather materials."

He crouched down, brushing his paw against the dirt and picking up a fallen branch. "We'll need sturdy sticks to frame it," he explained, glancing at Fairytale and Atreyu. "And anything soft - moss, leaves - for inside."

The moon was climbing within the dark heavens, once again finding herself lost within her thoughts. It was a still night, light ruffles of leaves and branches of the trees that brushed along the rocky floor. It wasn’t easy to navigate the path they would take but it was done. Twin peaks shifting upon her cranium as she continued with Oath and Atreyu. Some rocks shifted under her paw to only tumble down the ledge below them. Soft eyes of pink shifting to Oath and then her best friend Atreyu. She was a little worried though but trusted the two of them with her life.

The darkness was setting in even more as of late, soon they came up to the top. Shelter was by far more than needed. And some other things they would need. But also, some food too. There would be something that was needed, and Fairytale would make sure that her boyfriend and best friend would eat tonight. Even if it is small. That would be after the making of the shelter, that had to be first. “It could work and will work darling. I mean we already have the small rock out cut here that we can use to our advantage.”

Her tail danced around behind as eyes glistened while she looked up at the moon that was climbing higher. Watching carefully as she walked across the stones, she’d gather as much as she could, even if it was branches that had fallen from the trees. The smaller female would also gather some leaves, ferns and moss. It would take a little longer but she made due with what she had. Bringing the supplies that she so far gathered over towards Oath with a excited yip before going to gather more supplies.
