Other than the woman who'd raised him Frith had not enjoyed the companionship of a friend. When she had left him the complete aloneness had threatened to break him. Novellas appearance had saved him from a life of madness. She was the light of his world and he wished it no other way. He would bask in her pristine presence, and would never have eyes for another. Surely he would perish if he was ever separated from her side. As he spoke of their future he'd catch the smile that lit up her features, the rainbows dancing around them were almost as brilliant.
She would not so subtly remind him of the vows they'd promised each other, how they'd already dedicated their lives to one another before her, now their, family.
His own mischievous grin would spread across his features at her words, "always and forever." he would promise again. He knew he would never tire of her or her beautiful form. He'd nuzzle her close, fire and ice gaze closing as he rested his head atop her own. A contented sigh would drip from his lips, this had to be perfection.

The sentiment was true both ways. Frith had become an important part of her life now and like their children, and the rest of her family around her, Novella honestly couldn't imagine departing from them. How Lyric still stayed strong in Ahlon, especially with her children gone was a mystery to the girl though she could only imagine Darilnor was part of the strength that kept her going, equally Novella knew she could count on Frith if she needed to.

They simply couldn't be alone forever though and with the light continuing to brighten within the cave, Novella's gaze looked around her once more, aware of the change in light and also that this meant the sun had likely risen, the morning although still rather early was upon them. She would make no effort to move from Frith's side and head towards the exit of their secret haven, though a soft sigh would sound from her as she pointed out the time now to her husband. "The sun is up..."

Frith
Novella was his rock, though it seemed sometimes that he held more confidence in the girl than she did in herself. He didn?t know what he?d do without her by his side. He wouldn?t be anywhere near the man he was today. He wouldn?t let his thoughts linger on what might have been any more, he had her, he made a family, and they had an amazing home. He could not ask for anything better. He?d nuzzle her again as the gentle glinting of the sun?s rays would begin to fill the cave with glitter. He?d find himself echoing her sigh as she notified him of the bearing of the suns rays. It had begun to tear away at the darkness and devour them with it?s brilliant light. She hadn?t made an effort to move, and neither would he. The babies might have been little but they knew better than to leave the den without their parents. ?So it has.? He?d rumble as he nuzzled her and licked her ears suggestively.

Frith certainly would be of no help as she pointed out that the morning was here. He had promised, or more a fact she had made him promise they would be here only until the sun had risen and currently he was breaking that promise. Of course she too was to blame, having made no effort to move herself either, comfortable and calm here within their secret little hideaway, shut away from all but her mate.

She would find herself leaning into his touch rather than away from it as her mind told her she ought to do. They should head back down from the falls, make their way to their main den and yet he made it increasingly difficult to do so. "We should go..." She would murmur softly and yet the suggestion was delivered weakly as she succumbed to her husband and still found herself unwilling to leave.
