Sirius was pretty obsessed with his grandfather's Bear companion. Ever since finding the Polar bear, who was still on the mend and in Halo’s care, he felt like he wanted to learn more about them. So he chose the Bear as his companion any time he wanted to leave the woods. She was very accommodating and nothing seemed to phase her.

Today. He had decided to make his way to the beach. He was poking his head in the fishing huts with curiosity, when he found one of the training rings set up along the beach. He padded over to the stringed off area, and pulled at the string with one paw. He looked about himself for a wolf around, perhaps someone could explain to him why this area was sectioned off. Didn’t it mean he wasn’t allowed to cross?
