Sirius replied but there was something else in his voice now. A softness. A sense of vulnerability, perhaps? Isa huffed lightly. "If you're tripping me, then I'm definitely falling, am I not?" Standing on tiptoe, the blue woman placed another soft kiss on the man's chin. "And you've been there to pick me up every time so far." There were bits of Sirius that reminded Isa of her late husband. That sense of safety was the same. Not just from a physical perspective, but today she felt as though she could tell the man anything and he wouldn't judge her for it.
Her promise to make things great seemed to intrigue him and Isa gave a throaty chuckle, lips peeling back to flash perfect whites for just a moment. "The same thing that I always do." Her paw settled atop his and her cheek rested on his shoulder once more as she looked out over the storm. "I'll live with no regrets and I'll utilize the time that I'm given to live life to the fullest. I'll make the lives of those around me bright and shining by caring for them with all my heart."And she meant it. Every word.
