His attempts to rouse her were relentless until he finally got the response he so desperately needed. In a forceful start, he watched as those pale blue eyes sprang open with the vicious coughing fit that ensued. Her breath never stilled, he could hear the struggle behind each inhale. But she was alive. And that was all that mattered for the moment. Aresenn watched as the recognition dawned on her who had pulled her out of the flood. “Well … I happened to be in the neighborhood.” He began casually, though the one-sided grin he offered her back was one of genuine relief. Of course, she would have no idea that he had been lingering outside of the territory for a few days now hoping to be able to speak to her again.

Their peace was short-lived, however, as the realization of her own failed rescue mission came back to her. The Praetor boy immediately began to bristle. Of course, she would have narrowly escaped drowning and still be concerned for the safety of others. His own emotion began to surge forward on the matter, though he fought to contain it. ’You almost died!’ He wanted to shout, though he managed to refrain. “I don’t think that’s a good idea, Drama.” He said lowly- as gently as he could muster, though the frustration was still there. He wasn’t about to leave her side, and if he had to physically restrain her to keep her safe, then he certainly would. He didn’t fancy watching pups drown either, but they weren’t his to be concerned about. And if he had to choose between Andy and someone else, well … there would be no choice.

But as it turned out, her desired results were offered up to her without any additional exertion on her part or his. Fantastic. Aresenn looked up at the massive obsidian frame of Armada’s warlord approaching them- he was barely distinguishable from the chaos around them. He met the shift in Sirius’ gaze with an unwavering one of his own as he prepared to be reprimanded. However, the thanks he was offered granted some semblance of relief. It was asked of him to help get Andromeda to someone named Isa- who that might be, he hadn’t the slightest clue. But if they could help, then that was all he needed to know. With a stiff nod in acknowledgment, his attention returned to the girl ready to offer support in any way he could.
