“Let it” He growled, life was too short to stress over what the pack would think of them. He had done such stressing regardless, but in the heat of the moment he found he couldn’t quite bring himself to care. He wanted her. He wanted her very, very much. If she hadn’t teased him, she would have been safe. But he wasn’t about to let her go that easily.
Despite his best inventions to hold her to him, she managed to slip out of his grasp. Having successfully distracted him before dropping and ducking away. He growled at her. Low, threatening as he lowered his body and watched her skim around the cauldron. He moved more slowly, stalking her. Taking his time. “The food will last another hour.” He told her, his own eyes lowered and mischievous. “I don’t plan to wait, Isa dear.” He told her. He turned suddenly, dashing the other way around the cauldron as he attempted to grab her.
