He was just starting to help Aresenn get Andy to the spot he had left Isa when Marshal came careening into view, the frightful shriek of the bird told him that one of his children needed him. “To Isa, she’s over there!” He shouted to the ex-pirate as he pointed with a paw, before scrambling after his shrieking companion. Whatever was happening, it was bad. It was all bad, but that was besides the point.
As he tore through the mountain side of the Col, he heard the great crack of wood breaking against something hard. It was in that direction that Marshal flew, and his eyes tried to pick up what was happening. It was Stratum’s screaming that directed him to his child. He clung there where the tree had left him, clearly weakened and in pain.
Sirius reached him and the boulder he clung to in moments. He glanced at the bloody mess of his leg, and then back to Stratum. It was possible that moving him wasn’t the best for the leg, but it was best for the rest of him. He dropped partly into the water, and pushed himself under the boy. Stratum had grown a lot in the last few months, and Sirius grunted as he pushed up, taking the younger wolf's weight, so that he draped over Seer’s body. He pushed further up the mountain side, walking as carefully as he could with his precious cargo. “I’ve got you kiddo, hold on, hear me? Hold on!” He ordered.
