It was a cold, wet winter's day in eastern Boreas, the kind perfect for cuddling around a fire, staying indoors, or making a hot pot of tea. Satira quite liked the winter most of the time. Sure, it wasn't her favorite of seasons, but she didn't hate it the way others might. It gave her a good enough excuse to brew up some homemade teas and practice her medicinal alchemy, something she was very fond of. So after doing a bit of tidying up around her den, the little wolf-dog hybrid scooped up a small kettle she'd foraged from the nearby ruins and headed out down to the base of the falls to fill it with some of the cool, clean water. The trek down the side of the cliffs wasn't difficult, but it was a little extra slippery with the snow and damp earth, so she took her time and relied on her feline claws to help get some traction as she worked her way down to the plunge pools at the base of the falls. The white noise of the roaring water was beautiful on this crisp winter day, and a very gentle snowfall had just started from the cloud-heavy sky overhead. Truly beautiful...
Reaching the pool, Tira stepped up to the water's edge and dipped the kettle into the pool, filling it up in one swoop. She turned, intending to head straight back up to begin brewing some tea when a familiar black and white form beneath a sheltered overhang caught her attention. Bright blue eyes lit up when she saw Mojito, and Tira gave her sire a dainty wave before making her way over to where he was doing something with a makeshift mortar and pestle. "Hi Dad," she greeted him once she set the kettle down to free up her mouth, her gaze lingering on the bowl in his paws. "Whatcha up to?" Really, Satira was asking what he was doing out in the cold all on his own. She didn't know if he just enjoyed the winter that much, or if he was enjoying the solitude to focus on his work.
"Satira"
