Mojito had found himself a little sheltered area he could work in. Nao was... Well he was out right now, with his new found freedom it seemed he wanted to see much more of the world and Mojito couldn't blame him, it gave him time to work on some of the things he needed to do. Though there was little enough he could do until the cold weather left them alone, especially as it seemed this winter was particularly harsh. So he was doing what he could... Which admittedly wasn't much. He'd managed to get some dandelions before the chill had killed most of the local flora and at least that was something he could use. Though not if they dried out too quickly. So he was doing what he could to preserve them. He had at his paws a rough stone bowl and an awkwardly shaped long and thin rock. It was the best he had for a mortal and pestle right now. He was aware that he could probably get something from Armada's market place but well... That wound was still too fresh for him to want to risk poking at it. So awkwardly naturally shaped tools it was for now. He'd collected a small amount of the water from the falls in the shallow bowl and now was stripping parts of the dandelions, picking apart the parts of the plant that could be mixed together and which would need to be used separately.

It was a cold, wet winter's day in eastern Boreas, the kind perfect for cuddling around a fire, staying indoors, or making a hot pot of tea. Satira quite liked the winter most of the time. Sure, it wasn't her favorite of seasons, but she didn't hate it the way others might. It gave her a good enough excuse to brew up some homemade teas and practice her medicinal alchemy, something she was very fond of. So after doing a bit of tidying up around her den, the little wolf-dog hybrid scooped up a small kettle she'd foraged from the nearby ruins and headed out down to the base of the falls to fill it with some of the cool, clean water. The trek down the side of the cliffs wasn't difficult, but it was a little extra slippery with the snow and damp earth, so she took her time and relied on her feline claws to help get some traction as she worked her way down to the plunge pools at the base of the falls. The white noise of the roaring water was beautiful on this crisp winter day, and a very gentle snowfall had just started from the cloud-heavy sky overhead. Truly beautiful...
Reaching the pool, Tira stepped up to the water's edge and dipped the kettle into the pool, filling it up in one swoop. She turned, intending to head straight back up to begin brewing some tea when a familiar black and white form beneath a sheltered overhang caught her attention. Bright blue eyes lit up when she saw Mojito, and Tira gave her sire a dainty wave before making her way over to where he was doing something with a makeshift mortar and pestle. "Hi Dad," she greeted him once she set the kettle down to free up her mouth, her gaze lingering on the bowl in his paws. "Whatcha up to?" Really, Satira was asking what he was doing out in the cold all on his own. She didn't know if he just enjoyed the winter that much, or if he was enjoying the solitude to focus on his work.

While Mojito was working a familiar form approached the falls and he watched her for a moment offering a wave and a smile of his own. Satira approached and Mojito glanced down to continue prepping his materials but there could be no missing the way his tail thumped against the ground. She set her kettle down and Mojito finished by placing the dandelion heads in his makeshift bowl. "Hey Tira." His tone was warm and he chuckled softly in response to her question. "I figured I'd try to help my meagre supplies go a little farther." Completely missing the real question she was asking. The truth was he'd been feeling a little stifled while inside his new den, they still needed to expand it out so he had a better space to work and store his supplies and right now he just... Didn't love being there by himself. Mojito had been on the move for so long he had to get used to being settled again, and he was learning how to share a private space with someone for the first time in his whole adult life. He preferred the fresh air, it didn't smell of Nao and reminded him that the man was out more often than he was in right now. "It's a good day for tea." He commented, nodding his head towards his daughter's kettle. He assumed that's what it was for, far as he was aware they didn't need to boil any bandages or anything. He turned his attention back to his work for a moment, starting to use the mortar and pestle though he kept an ear perked making it clear he wasn't cutting the conversation off.
