Even if Tachi was a little shit from time to time, Kuroo loved his siblings all the same. Alvar and Tate show up as well and Kuroo smiles at them too. Even a little tail wag because when was Kuroo's tail not wagging? Thankful that they didn't take long to show up, the fisherwolf finally turns his attention back to Hattori as the Kaicho begins to speak. The words that leave him are not inaccurate. In the time that he has come to know Sedna, he has realized that she is more hands-off in her style of parenting. While he didn't disagree with her, he had wondered if she ever worried for them.

Kuroo's ears do perk when Hattori mentions that Beru's "friend" is concerned and looking for him. If someone had actually come looking, did that mean something terrible had happened to his half-sibling? The last time Kuroo had left the bamboo's safety, he had lost someone close to him. He felt unsure leaving to look for Beru and the bad things that might happen. His expression steels for a moment before switching back to its usual relaxed and happiness with only a slight twinge of concern.

"Are the Hallows expecting us or just his friend?" Kuroo asks though he's sure the Hallows wouldn't turn them away if they came cordially.
