After talking with her dad, karaka realised the entire world had opened up to her. She had reached her first year of age, and she needed to go out and explore the world. Leaving behind everything she knew was no easy feat, and she worried about her dad. He had told her where to find her, and perhaps she would find her own way to that pack. Eventually. For now, she had a whole world to explore. So she left the Red Forest where she had been born, and ventured abroad. She was immediately lost, and there was a lot of trepidation to be found with that realisation. But adventure awaited the bold, so bold she would be. She found herself at the top of a cliff overlooking the ocean. There were paths down, but they looked difficult to navigate. She wasn’t sure if it would be worth the effort to head down there. |
