The Elysian wolves were not kept waiting long before the man they both desired to see made his grand appearance. Víðarr was all shadow and stone, a muscular beast build like he had been carved out of pure volcanic obsidian. Alastor's expression immediately lit up when he saw the brute approaching, though there was the unmistakable gleam of feral appreciation in his ebony eyes as they roved the alpha male's form. Ordinarily, he would have been a bit more measured in the presence of his children, but given that Avacyn was an adult now and was no stranger to the realm of desire, he felt no need to conceal the way he veritably eye-fucked the handsome brute that greeted them.

A grin made itself at home on Alastor's muzzle as Víðarr spoke and greeted them. "Víðarr," he rumbled back in reply, his almost lyrical response dancing over the brute's name as he dipped his head back in polite greeting. A quick glance to Avacyn at his side caught his daughter's brief annoyance at the two men so the ebony brute decided not to fully revolt her just yet. He tipped his head over to Avacyn, making sure to emphasize that she was the reason for the meeting. "My daughter." Ava was already introducing herself as Elysium's alpha and stating their intentions here. Alastor really was here for the eye candy, after all, and to make the meeting more pleasant where he could.

Alastor allowed Ava to lead the conversation as she was the alpha, though he would be remiss if he didn't offer his congratulations to the new leader as well. "Yes, your challenge was quite entertaining to watch! I certainly had a good time seeing you in your elements." There was a bit of a rumbling purr at his last word, that wild grin never faltering from his lips. There was nothing quite like a good fight to get the blood flowing and the hormones burning. Though he was used to challenges ending with a few less lives walking away from the arena, it was still a good fight.
