Wow, these trees were incredible! Nami had been all over the world, at least that was what her last few years had felt like, and she'd never seen anything quite like this oak forest. The tree trunks were massive, even the smallest ones easily dwarfing the width of the largest wolf she'd ever seen. They stretched both tall and wide, some having fallen on top of one another to form little dwellings of their own. Her jaw unhinged, looking comically awed as she wanted through the forest, her gaze constantly darting this way and that, never focusing on anything for long before looking to the next thing. Their little journey was helped by the slightly cooler air that whisked through the forest, the air invigorating in contrast to the warmer months that Auster had been facing. She admittedly was looking forward to a cooler, rainier season, even if it made swimming in the sea a little more challenging. "It is," she answered Kuroo as they walked together, watching Saru dancing from one tree to the next. "Though it's been a long while since I settled down anywhere. I worry I won't be very good at it," Nami admitted, giving a hint of her anxious nature away. |
