The change in Delphi was a lot more violent than he expected. While he had wanted to see her fighting for them, he realised he might have pushed her too far. Idiot yearling that he was. But while she might be fighting against him now, he realised he… wasn't. He was feeling other things as her paw smacked him in the chest. He didn't even bother to defend against it. He let that strike land, and hooked his own paw under her knee in an attempt to pull her towards him. His hormones were indecipherable to himself, and it wasn't anger his eyes smouldered with.

Seeing her open maw coming at him, he bunched his neck fur and turned a little to the side. Trying to protect his vulnerable throat. "I'm still fighting for us.” He whispered, voice a little husky as he attempted something probably stupid and dangerous considering her bared fangs. He tried to bring his muzzle to hers, and kiss her.
