She's not used to being the one on the receiving end of care like this. Always existing with a foot between two worlds-- seeing the upper crust, living among them, but being very clearly othered. This is different. Not to be hidden away, at least, not hidden away in the same sense she's used to. Out of the public eye for her own comfort, now, due to her size. There had been a spare few days when she'd been fairly obviously showing, but still mobile. Now it was... well, it was getting difficult. Kiriko moved more slowly, and she felt terribly self conscious. She'd grown increasingly round, and her steps came more and more slowly.

But then, there's the care in his voice as he speaks. The self conscious nature fades a bit, and Kiriko's ruby gaze is gentle as it rests on the man. She gives a small nod, though the words that come are thoughtful and honest. "Very well, thank you." Kiriko pauses, figuring it was better to tell him the whole truth. They'd best be prepared, after all. "To be this... size, at this time-- there will be many, and they are already strong." She offered a weak smile. Though she'd grown more radiant through the weeks, Kiriko was also tired. Her back hurt. She wasn't going to complain aloud, but whew.
