Her reaction is expected. He can feel the tingle of his chest wound as she stares him down with distrust. Knowing he was deserving of the look she shoots him, he bows his head, ears laying to the side, tail tucking under himself. Pleased that she would still allow him in her presence, Gil does not falter in his step to follow her along the pathway to the palace. In truth, he is in awe at the appearance of the massive warren. Pressing the underbrush to the side, he pauses to take it all in. How many wolves had Ashen housed here? Would this be better than the isle? Safer? More secretive?
