His question has her eyes rolling. "You think maybe I could've let out my anger on something like a training dummy?" She snaps back, her eyes turning to look up at him with a smirk. "Or do you enjoy the pain?" Delphi teases, suddenly reaching up to grasp at his chin with her front teeth. Though they were only yearlings, Delphi knew she was in love with him. Knew that no matter what toxicity flowed through their relationship, she would always be there for him, want him, be possessive over him. It didn't matter who stood in their way, Delphi would fight for Strai. That much was obvious as she looked closely at his face. Was it fated by the gods that he had crossed her path?
