The rope went slack as she let go and Kaizen mistakenly thought she'd conceded. As if it could be so easy. He was still holding onto the rope when Seiko came rushing forward, paw raised and ready to give him a solid whack as she stated her demands- just as intent as he was to claim the ropey prize. Kaizen dropped the heavy rope, ears flicking back with teeth bared, not a particular threatening sight to behold, but who was really intimidated by puppies?  

He lunged up, teeth snapping as he figured if he grabbed a hold of her paw she wouldn't be able to hit him with it.
