Gathering Goblins

Illusion didn’t care about the happenings of the pups around them, and she was content enough to have her shoulder touching her brother’s, except that is, until from behind her there came a sudden shout of "BOO!" which made her wince and jump in surprise. Her perfect smile dropped into a sneer for a moment, until she remembered the company she was in and it was replaced with a soft, dewey eyes pout. “That was so mean!” She let her voice carry with a softness, a hurt tone that was meant to show everyone that boy had upset her! Illu sat herself back down, her skull drooping and her tail wrapping around her haunches as she made a show of how brutally the bully had affected her. Of course, just to get him in trouble. Her heart had hardly even fluttered at the spook, but the shock had been very real -- and she felt slighted for it.
