The balance of the bear faltered and it fell hard onto one hip. The quick, agile fae had already moved away. With practiced precision, she grabbed the hind leg still in the air and pulled, keeping the bear on the ground. It would be up to Caedes to deliver the finishing blow. She would simply do her best to keep the beast on the ground and distracted enough for the big bite to end its life.
