Lia continued to hold the herbs until they were all crammed into the herb bag the Princess held. Once that was done, she took a slight step back, giving them room to see each other properly. She felt very self conscious of the new scar running beside her eye, even as she wondered how much had changed in Gossamer’s life since the Princess had attempted to help her learn how to fight.

“Not long…” she said, processing the realisation that of course Gossamer must also be related to Vanta, somehow that hadn’t clicked earlier. “I’m here with Vanta, actually. I can show you what den she’s using, but I’m not sure where she is right now exactly.” She apologised.
