Morwenna
The way his blue eyes roved over her slender body before he answered her made her chest catch. She didn't know if she wanted to be intrigued or repulsed as he hummed to himself. She tucked her chin closer to her breast and looked away, feeling shy and suddenly unsure.
He finally remarked that he was forging a weapon and she turned back to him, pulling her ears up and tilting her head. Oh? One can make weapons with such stones? She'd certainly appreciate a knife of her own, even if it was just to cut down the sturdier herbs for her use.
She wanted to bother him no more, he made it rather plain that he wished to be left alone when he told her to go find her own obsidian. Ah, so that's what it was called. She had tripped over those skinny stones, it was probably one of those that she had cut her foot on earlier.
She nodded to him and started to nose her way through the grass and stones, trying to decide if she too would craft a weapon. No... A curved knife, dull on the outer edge, sharp on the inside. Yes. It'll make it so much easier to - He interrupted her thoughts this time, asking who cut her...
She took in a breath as she lifted her head, she didn't look at him directly. Instead, she let her gaze wander over the trees back in the direction she had first come. Would that be a good escape route? Why did she suddenly feel the need to escape? He hadn't done anything yet. She shook her silky lengthy fur and finally responded, this time she looked in the opposite direction, still not at him.
"No one. I think I sliced a foot on one of those pieces. I'll be fine though. I'm a healer." Meaning she was more useful alive in case he had the idea to test out his hunting skills on a maimed girl. Hmmm.... The thought didn't quite displease her if it went down a less dangerous route.
She picked a rather large, thick piece of the black glass and rolled it down the slope from him, keeping her injured delicate paw up to her chest. Every time she tried to place it on the ground any pressure on her foot would make her wince.
She also quickly found a nice piece of basalt and brought it to her obsidian piece. She had an idea to make herself a boline.
