the boy seems to understand, for he’s quick to drive the deer into their path, snapping at its heels with meticulous precision. Spider tenses as their prey approaches, only revealing themselves at the last moment to avoid spooking the creature into a last minute course diversion. when it’s clear there’s no chance of escape, Spider pops up from the undergrowth and has just enough time to register the spark of terror in its eyes before they’re lunging for its throat, propelling themselves forward so that they can attach themselves to its velvety neck. blood bathes their tongue as they tear into it, trusting their hunting partner has caught up and is launching a similar siege on the creature’s hide.
Spider has a male raven companion named Doomsday and a female snake companion named Lady Snakeskin. Assume they are present unless stated otherwise.
