Mud Run

She yipped as his teeth combed her thigh and she shot him a coy glare while her paws grazed the ground. She leaped over a clump of dense grass and watched as he pulled ahead of her.

She admired his lean muscles rippling under his dark aurora coat. His legs were longer than hers and his height towered over her. But with height came weight, and a light jockey was easier to carry to the finish line.

The tree neared and she leaped to snap at a small bird take flight as he ran by first. She bolted out right, ready to win she pulled up next to him.
