Estie liked to follow Nimue when she traveled. So today, Nimue figured, why not do the same to her? Staying in the shadows, she stalked the larger girl all the way down south, marching into a massive forest covered in weeping willow trees. An array of aviary noises echoed through the forest, the occasional croak of an amphibian joining in. So far there wasn’t anything of interest. So why the hell did Estie come here?

But the tranquility wouldn’t last long. A low, guttural growl resonated from the underbrush, a massive gorilla emerging to challenge Estie. Nimue stayed behind for a few moments, watching to see if this would turn into a fight. Estie was snarling at it, standing her ground but the gorilla was strong in its resolve, refusing to yield. Anticipation started to swell inside of Nimue, festering into anxiety as she felt the danger radiating off the beast. It was far scarier than a hippo or elephant.

Moving forward, Nimue emerges from the underbrush and stands beside Estie, snarling alongside her to signify their strength in numbers.
