Prepare for the Best

Wylan was practising his stances on the beach when he saw Ollie heading down the sand with his paws full of polar bear. Immediately interested, he stopped what he was doing. He hopped over the rope that marked the training ring, and trotted after his brother. The dark sand was cold beneath his paws. There just wasn’t enough sunlight to heat it at the moment.

His larger stride helped him to catch the white wolf quickly, but even so he arrived just as Ollie was pulling to a stop at the smoker. “Ollie, Ollie! Is that a polar bear? What happened?” He asked, excitement lighting up his eyes
