He inquired upon her wellness! Oh! That was nice! She pulled her ears back for a moment while she thought, trying to push out a word or two through her mouth just like she practiced alone. Unfortunately her words did not want to come through so she nodded up at him somewhat emphatically with a joyful crinkle in her golden eyes. As far as she knew she was fine! She didn't really have much to complain about! No sores or discomfort, or sniffles. Nothing out of the ordinary!

When he remarked on her hunting she stood excitedly with a happy smile and a joyful wag. Yes! She loved hunting, especially with Jiro and Kai, and the long legged Jynn! But she still couldn't say all of it through the ephemeral sand between her mind and her mouth. Perhaps she could try some of the tea she tried making herself. Maybe that would help her... She looked around frenetically upon the ground for a moment, as if searchinh for something to say or trying to catch her quickly thinking thoughts. Ah!

She grabbed the rat and and bounded along the path, toward the healers. She looked over her shoulder at Hanzo and nodded her head for him to follow her. When she was sure he was following she would bound down the path. Slipping in and out among the bamboo at the edge. She quickly deposited her kill where the other hunters typically left theirs to be processed, and continued to skip toward the healers, making sure her father was following.

Her heart raced and she was mildly panting out of breath from quickly skipping and weaving to and fro. She disappeared into the bamboo for a moment, behind the stores of herbs and where the healers did most of their work.

After a few heartbeats she reappeared with a teakettle, sloshing with water, that she placed down on the fires where the other healers typically made their teas. The other healers may have wondered where the kettle had walked off to. Inside the kettle was some lemon balm and chamomile, it was old tea though that she had made several days ago and it was turning rancid in the kettle. The smell would be made evident as the water came to a boil. There was only so much a young healer could learn on her on her own.

She sat watching the kettle, excitedly turning back and forth between the warming tea and her father, her little white tail swishing back and forth, eager to display her capabilities.

Asahi does not typically speak, even sometimes when she wants to.

Her brother Jiro may enter her threads unannounced!
