Growing pains

Oleander practically glowed under her praise, his grin flickering in and out as he focused again on her words and tried to read between each line.

She gave him the challenge then, what move would be made next. If he didn't make one soon, she would for sure. He leaned in with a knowing grin, not knowing anything at all, but feigning it until it he could come up with something.

"Can I teach you how to use Yarrow out in the field? Annnd maybe you can teach me something else?" He asked with a playful wag of his tail. His mischievous and playful nature coming forward.
