The Art of Birth

Morwenna was enthralled with the hustle and bustle of the busy market. Her slender form weaved in and out among the crowd, toward a space where she had made arrangements with Bas and Oleander to lead a lesson for anyone interested.

The afternoon was brisk in the winter cold but the warmth of the cavern market was delightful and not too warm to cause sleepy students.

She called out in her sing-song, chiming voice into the throng as loudly as she could muster,
"Gather Gather! Today I'll be teaching a lesson in the healing arts! If anyone would like to learn more about complications in birth or pregnancy, and some herbal contraceptives, I'm your gal! Starting in a few minutes!" She was eager to answer anyone's questions on the topic. She sat to wait for her students to gather around her.
