Mud Run

Despite her best efforts, she had been too presumptuous! Though she ran flat out, her legs coiling beneath her like a spring, his stride was longer despite his weight. She reached the tree after him and she slowly swung around it shaking her head and tongue lolling out of her long mouth. She couldn't believe she had been so egotistical!

She watched him with playful narrowed eyes as they both gathered their breaths. Wondering what his move would be.

Finally, as her breath steadied against her deep ribs, she caught his sparkling mismatched eyes at her.

"Oh yes, my dear Scald. I promised. And what prize would you like to claim?" She leaned in with a mischievous air, her purple eyes lidded heavily. A kiss? A snuggle? A chase? A lay? She swept her tail behind her, the long fur cascading like waterfalls down her lithe body.
