Alaric's attack for the side of the neck had been successful. His maws filled with meat and fur as he clamped down with force, but did not draw blood. He squeezed the area tight, but not enough to draw blood. However in the process he could see Veigar's maws coming straight for his shoulder. So he decided to give it to him, in a form way. He would slam his shoulder forwards in attempt to bash it into the nose and front jaw of Veigar, it would most likely get caught in the process but not without a fight. He took a step back with his targeted limb to avoid his front limb being wrapped around, keeping his balance in check.
