What a treasure! Her deep purple eyes gleamed with awe and enchantment as Iris's gaze fell on the glittering black sands. What made them shimmer so? Her own ebony pelt nearly blended into the sands as she walked over the beach. She'd chase the waves with a delightful laugh and then let them chase her back over the sands again. Splashing in the water was one of her greatest joys, watching as the droplets caught a glimmer of sunlight and sparkled through the air like falling diamonds. Could she gather this glittering back sand for a project? Perhaps if she found tiny bottles.

Suddenly she noticed a woman on the beach, cream of pelt with warm tones to her. Delighted to meet someone new Iris bounded up to her.
"Bonjo- 'ello!" She greeted warmly, practicing shifting her language to the common tongue of these lands. It was getting easier with each new person she met.
