His maw twitched in amusement as he watched her hold two of the babies to her chest. He knew how much she would love them. She had made that clear when she was fierce at every turn to protect them. Together, they would ensure these pups had the best chance. He ran a finger through Cits fur as gently as he knew how before placing the pup down again, scooting it gently into his mothers stomach fur. 


Ignits leaned forward, kissing him. His lips parted as he tasted her. It had been so long since they had been intimate, and the gentle kiss left him wanting more. He sighed into her mouth. They wouldn't get privacy until their little ones were bigger. 


To distract himself, he scooped up another child. Cradling Selene in one arm. “I will teach them all to defend themselves.” He said softly. He would encourage them to be fighters, as well. The stronger you were, the safer you were in this world.
