So much to learn

His thickly furred ears perked at the sound of his father's call. Excitement bussed through his small frame as he bounded toward the Col, his young paws barely making a sound on the soft grass. He was eager to learn everything his father had to offer, to prove himself, even if he didn't fully understand that is what he was aiming to do yet. When he spotted Basilisk's tall form in the semi-private spot, Balrog's eyes widened, admiring his father's stance. He tried to mimic it, his legs wobbling slightly as he struggled to find balance with his heavy weight. Determination filled him as he looked up to his father's gaze, securing his stance with strong will.

"I'm ready, Dad!" he declared, a proud little puff of his chest given as he tried to look as tough as possible, even if he was still so small.
