Learning Pains

“You think I’ll be as big as Dad?” He asked, whisper-soft, with a touch of awe. Was that why his paws were so stupidly big compared to his siblings? He wasn’t sure he had the right of it, and was almost afraid to be wrong. Being the tallest would be almost as cool as being the fastest.


He straightened up a little, feeling a little less dejected now. He shuffled and rearranged himself so he was sitting alongside his mother.
