Oh rats!

Hattori had noticed the state of the Maze, the infestation of scuttling insects that rustled through the bamboo leaf litter. He did not think they were anything to be overly concerned about, not dangerous at the very least, but their presence was unwanted all the same. Aside from squashing them one by one- which sounded like a massive waste of time and effort- he couldn't think of a way to handle the issue. There was someone who came to mind that probably did though.
Seeking out the adopted Hattori, he moved through the maze, only to arrive at her little shack. He did not venture to this part of the maze all that often, but the few times he did the gardens were always well tended, the scent of herbs and spices thick in the air.
"Fuji." He greeted, approaching the mouth of her hut, not entering without permission but peering in all the same. Silver eyes glowing in the shadows. As if on cue a centipede scuttled across the floor, Hattori was quick to flick it aside with a talon. "Is there anything that can be done?"
