CHIN UP

He watched silently as his brother took up a defensive stance for what was to come. Only...he hadn't been allowed the chance to defend himself. Instead, Enyo came at him, once again reprimanding him for something he had already been reprimanded for at the borders. His mouth drew into a tight line as Enyo made her assault upon Nik. He had expected a chance to allow their brother to defend himself, but it seemed she would not allow him that at all as she grabbed him and shoved him into the ground in a manner that Kronos found far too aggressive for Nik's transgression. He bit back a growl and a sigh, forcing his hackles to remain lowered.

A brief glance at Erebos told him that he too, had some form of issue with this. That Enyo was far too confident and arrogant. Believing herself above them, it seemed. While she was the matriarch, that did not fully put her above them no matter what she thought. Erebos was still the one that they looked to. Not her. And while Kronos was willing to see her as an equal, clearly she didn't see things that way. No...she was far more power hungry than he initially thought. And although their life back home had been hard, and particularly harder for her, they weren't home anymore. They were not underneath the gaze of Nike nor their father here. Nobody in this pack nor in these lands other than their family group knew what was expected of them. And to an outsider...this did not look good on Enyo.

Ears flicked as Erebos spoke, and Kronos nodded as he agreed with him. Though he was surprised when his brother mentioned his mate. A brow rose in question. When did that happen? And on cue, the Bone Queen herself emerged from the shadows, her manner of moving was cryptic and feral, sending a slight chill down Kronos' spine. She was definitely a strange one...but strange could be overlooked when she was the Queen of her own kingdom. He glanced between Medusa and Erebos, were they...mates...now? He had questions, sure, but he would not ask them at this point in time. Instead, he remained where he was and watched what might happen between Medusa and Enyo. How his sister would take the challenge. To his surprise, Medusa offered his sister something that sounded too good to pass up in exchange for a raised stakes fight. Smart move. He thought. Enyo simply couldn't resist such a thing now...would she?

Apparently not. She accepted. Though the manner in which she kept going about things brought a slight shake to his head. Enyo was going to be her own downfall speaking to her superior in that manner, and coming off as if she were better than the Queen who had fought for everything after she came from nothing. If Enyo wanted to act in the manner she did, then they would not step in to fight her battles. She was fully capable of fighting her own, female or not. Now was her chance to find out if her arrogant self would be humbled, or if she'd go on to fall into a deeper pit of self superiority. Either way, Kronos moved to nudge Nik up and motioned for him to move a bit of a distance away so they could start their own spar, though honestly, he was more interested in watching this fight between Enyo and Medusa.
