Hey, Hey! I've Heard About You!
Insomnia comes a knockin'

Hattori's mood had soured somewhat of late and one might think he really ought to have gotten over it by now, but a wounded pride did not heal as easily as physical wounds. And Hattori kept picking at it like a scab, refusing to let it go because that felt like weakness. Still, he would never outright ignore or turn away visitors to his borders, even if he was a little less...agreeable as late.
Heeding the call, Hattori worked his way from the depths of the maze to the edge, finding a wolf he'd never met before. But their scent was somewhat familiar, that they mingled at least with the wolves of Insomnia, perhaps called that pack their home. Though he supposed he'd find out soon enough.
Taking in the sight of the pale eyed wolf, Hattori drew to a standstill, remaining amongst the younger, thinner stalks of the bamboo, their leaves brushing against his fur, points of contact he didn't even seem to notice anymore.
"What is it?" Short, and not entirely friendly. Unwelcome Jehovist Witnesses at the door vibes.
