It seemed this fight would mirror their last spar. Medusa would wait for Enyo to brashly move forward as she had done last time. Enyo was expecting some slick counter, just as last time.

She felt the shift in Medusa's movements. A sudden change in direction. Instinctively, she reacted. As Medusa lunged for her left thigh, Enyo shifted her weight, pivoting on her right leg to twist her body away from the attack. She lifted her left leg just in time, avoiding the full force of Medusa’s lunge, though she felt the Queen's teeth graze her fur. The pinch of a chunk being torn.

Hot anger boiled over at the whole situation. In the chaos of it all. There was no order. There was no logic. She would talk with Erebros later.

With a quick turn, Enyo snapped her jaws downward, aiming to catch Medusa’s exposed side, seeking to use her superior strength and size to force the Queen off-balance before she could gain a proper hold. A low growl rumbled in her throat as she countered, muscles tensed and ready for the next strike.
