Korona, still small but full of energy, eagerly followed Lyra and the others into the bustling festival. Her tiny paws moved in rhythm with her non-tail, eyes wide with excitement as they took in the sights and sounds. So much to see, so much to try! It made her heart race in the most thrilling way.
As soon as she spotted her sister Sagittarius, a big smile stretched across her muzzle. She hurried over, her paws light and quick. "Hey Sis!" she chirped, half barked.
But then there was Kenway. Instead of bounding up to greet him, she simply offered a timid nod, her eyes flickering away quickly. He didn’t seem to notice, too focused on starting the fire. Like Lyra, Korona simply watched.
Korona watched with fascination as the flames leaped up, dancing wildly. The scent of whatever he had used to ignite the wood made her nose wrinkle and snort, but the blaze itself was mesmerizing. Her awe spilled over into a bright smile, her wide eyes reflecting the flickering light.
The tents, though. Oh, the tents! They pulled at her attention like nothing else, full of mystery and adventure. Did they really have to wait? The eagerness bubbled up inside her again, her paws itching to dash off and explore. Maybe, just maybe, she could sneak away for a moment… and so the girl did.
