He regarded the other curiously, to herd an ass one would need more than the two of them. They needed to be quick and slice its throat before it had time to react. If only he had his sharpened bronze claws with him, it would be easy for him. He eyed the long fangs on this male and decided he would be best to take the throat.
He shook his head. "Quick and fast. Won't herd, it'll just fight. You take the throat as fast as you can get it once its range. I'll grab a hoof to keep it from kicking you. Surprise attack together." He replied leaning in. These bastards were hard to take on and typically proved a challenge.
He slunk toward the ornery colt. Perhaps a year or two old. Ready to launch as soon at the other saw he could grab it.
